Spiti Valley – What will be the first thing you do when you are planning to visit spiti?

Obviously, a google search and there comes the iconic image of the valley ‘Key Monastery’ and being a photographer those images conquer your mind. That’s when Basith, my fellow buddy asked me why not give it a try. being part of a rat race and running a family business my own… I was limited to the surrounding and wasn’t able to go outside kerala moreover Basith wasn’t expecting a yes from me. No wonder my yes nod gave him a chill. With no time to waste we head to the mountains. 3 days of hectic and bumpy ride with all the dreams we had about the valley it just astonished to witness the winter bounded by white misty mountains everywhere. It was my dream true to capture this Key Monastery as I was levitated and float just like the mist. A frozen moment literally amidst of all the pain and struggle we had this is rewarding.

The ridge in Shimla is probably the most visited place and I can’t see why not! Our national flag 🇮🇳 , father of our nation, beautiful setting sun, awesome weather won’t hurt your eyes, I am sure. The Christ church, second oldest church in north India is also right there standing tall and magnificently looking good in pictures. If you are a chai lover then an insider tip: try the ₹10 chai of the chaiwalas roaming around shouting “chai” “chai” you will probably enjoy it more at ridge than in baljees.
