The Beautiful Lady – Sagarika Das

Q. Would you call yourself a Style Blogger or a Mommy Blogger? Please share what is your Instagram profile all about and how did your journey start?

I’m a mommy and lifestyle blogger. After my second baby was born, I started to document my motherhood journey on Instagram. My friend guided me on how to start and the dos and the don’ts about Instagram.

Q. Is being an influencer/ blogger your full-time profession or are do you work elsewhere?

No, It’s my full time profession.

Q. What would you consider your biggest achievement so far?

I always loved writing and thanks to the parenting platforms who gave me opportunities to excel in this field.

Q. Your thoughts on the challenges of bringing up two kids and being a blogger at the same time?

I love my work so I keep working or writing whenever I get time from my normal chores. My husband is on his toes and helps me whenever required.

Q. How do you manage your family life along with other commitments and running an Instagram page?

Its difficult at times. Regular interaction with followers and constant engagement is at times frustrating but I feel this is what I love doing so better I don’t fuss and keep doing what I do the best

Q. How often do need to travel for outdoor shoots? How do you relax, rejuvenate and reboot with a hectic life?

Every weekend is for shoots😄 Relaxation happens in between the shoots as my photographer is my husband and that’s the time we work together as a team and enjoy “our” time.

Q. Being a mother is a hectic job, how to make sure that woman look after themselves even when their priority are kids?

I’ve written on this topic many times😊 one of my favourite topic in which I can go on and on. You cannot pour from an empty cup so prioritising self-care is so important. I take out time for myself every day. Honestly, mom’s won’t find time for themselves they will have to take it out.

Q. What other activities are you a part of apart from your job and as an Influencer? What are your hobbies?

I’m going to soon start my own venture. Will come up with the details soon on Instagram 😊 I love reading!

Q. Please share your experience with different brands you have worked with?

I’ve worked with many brands like Mamaearth, Firstcry, Johnson, Pampers and so on. I learnt a lot in the process of collaboration. Looking forward to collaborating with new startups

Q. As Durga Puja and other festivities are knocking around the corner, could you please suggest certain looks for Moms which will go well with the occasion, are easy to achieve and brands where to get them?

I always choose “Minimal looks”😄  I don’t want to wear those heavy earrings with a beautiful silk saree. I think “comfort is the key”. I prefer Biba, Max and Global Desi.

Q. There’s a lot of shoddy people on social media who either try to discredit others or stalk them. How do you deal with such people or negativity in general? Does it bog you down or affect your mental peace?

I don’t have enough time to deal with such people. I just block them.

Q. “Social media and Influencers creates a fake world and it is affecting the youth in a wrong way” – is this a myth or there’s truth behind it? Your thoughts?

It’s 100% true. I also wrote an article on it. It’s not real life it’s reel life.

Q. Can becoming an Influencer be taken up as a profession for future generations? How to not get lost amongst the masses? Any tips?

Yes, it can definitely be taken up as a profession. The most important thing to keep in mind is “keep it real”. Content is the king so think about the niche and then come up with amazing content.

Q. What are your future plans for your page and profile? Are you happy with the way it has shaped up?

Yes, I didn’t know I’ll get name and fame the day I started. I’m happy and will devote more time and try to get more creative.

Q. Lastly, any word for our blog? Thank you for your time!

I’m in love with your creativity. I definitely love reading your blog and photographs are just awesome.

Thanks a ton😍
